HOW GOOD IS THIS!!!??? – NUMBER 17

Welcome back people. Another simple post for you here all about the mystery and brilliance that is METRONOMY

We love them very muchly here at The Recommender. With their jerky, wonky, pop that layers up and up into a mash of synths and bounce.

It’s all a little bit geek-heavy, like Hot Chip, a little bit Casio-heavy, like Mendetz, and a little bit art-heavy, like Klaxons.

It’s with their live performances and fantastic music videos that they really come to life though. You will see them trying just about anything, as long as it involves weird lighting, or outstandingly loud colours.

They stake their themes all about love and good times and clearly don’t take themselves too seriously. It’s refreshingly bright and hopeful. That’s what shines through in their video’s particularly.

Find their excellent video for ‘A Thing For Me here…

Here’s their video for ‘Radio Ladio’

Well worth their own posting we think. Hope you enjoyed this meandering foray into Metronomy. See you again soon…
Mike
